Experienced Project Manager needed for a Cloud migration project
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work on a brand new exciting project with one of our established accounts in Local Government.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the Cloud First IT strategy for hosting as many applications as possible in the Cloud. The Project Manager will also be responsible for developing a new Operational Target Model alongside this.

What you will do:
Responsible for the successful delivery of a complex project, ensuring the appropriate level of governance is followed
Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders
Responsible for the migration of IT applications into a Cloud environment
Responsible for the planning and delivery of a new Operational Model based on the migration
Your experience will include:
- Extensive Project Management skills within an IT environment
- Experience of Project managing an IT Applications migration into a Cloud environment
- Proven and demonstrable experience of project delivery in a similar environment
- Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills
The identification, assessment and management of project risks, which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose
- Ideally the candidate will hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate
