Salesforce Service Cloud Configuration Specialist

Duration: 6 month contract
Location: 100% Remote (US)

Our client, a global commercial real estate services company, is seeking a Salesforce Service Cloud Specialist to help their teams configure, train and roll out Service Cloud for 15 products. 


About the Role: As an expert in Salesforce Service Cloud you will use your experience and knowledge to help us perform a migration from ServiceNow.  You will help us with design, configuration, implementation, and best practices.  The right person will be technical and a strong communicator.  You will help us understand and leverage all that Service Cloud has to offer.


Configuration Support:

  • Guide our team in “Lift and Shift” of current configuration from ServiceNow to Service Cloud
  • Inform stakeholders of additional functionality that Service Cloud can offer that is beyond our “Lift and Shift”
  • Configuration of Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Actively participate in planning, testing, and migration
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Stakeholders, and Project Team in the documentation of User Stories
  • Dashboard and reporting creation and configuration
  • Develop and maintain User Guides
  • Train users on Service Cloud tool functionality
  • User Management – User Creation, Authorization & Role creation/Mapping
  • Develop and maintain Process Documents
  • Conduct Internal testing of the configuration done in the application
  • Help manage user acceptance testing and release plans
  • Define and document functional and technical requirements
  • Train individuals identified as admins on configuration
  • Product Support:

  • Maintain a tracker of the issues/ bugs reported
  • Discuss priorities with stakeholders and help prioritize the items
  • Perform configuration changes, testing, and report to stakeholders
  • Experience & Education:

    Required Qualifications

  • Successfully performed multiple ServiceNow to Service Cloud migrations
  • Expertise in all the Service Cloud has to offer
  • Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the IT industry and 3-4 years configuring  Service Cloud
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English written and spoken)
